The Village Collective
A Full-Circle Approach to Birth & Nourishment.
Our Mission
To empower expectant parents through a multidisciplinary "village" of care, prioritizing health literacy and community connection to dismantle barriers to equitable birth outcomes. By integrating clinical expertise with peer support, we cultivate the knowledge and advocacy skills families need to grow stronger and healthier for generations to come.
The Village Collective is a transformative six-month cohort designed by Pea Pod Nutrition to redefine the prenatal experience. Recognizing that birth outcomes are deeply tied to both nutrition and navigation, this program brings together a powerhouse team of Registered Dietitians, IBCLCs, Doulas, and Mental Health Professionals.
Our curriculum goes beyond traditional education by focusing on health literacy—equipping parents with the tools to understand their data, advocate for their care, and make informed decisions within the healthcare system. Through monthly hands-on workshops, parents due in the same season build a "micro-village" that combats isolation and builds collective power. This is more than a class; it is a collaborative movement to ensure every family in Georgia has an equitable start and a healthy future.
